Choice has already been told he'll get the majority of the work today, and they've prepared all week for him to do so.

Just heard an interview clip (from yesterday) with him this morning reiterating as much.

As for Barber, this is what Jerry Jones had to say about him on Friday:

"His strength of course is the issue in that quad, it's upper quad, but he certainly is going to play. In practice yesterday he did look healthy enough to play. We'll just have to see how that affects him during the game."

Yes, he is, but that's nothing more than a token move.

I'm all for token, but I also know listing a player as a starter is usually not done if the player is not 100%. Granted, that is not absolute, but it is the general rule.

I hate this

the way I see it is, even if Barber starts and plays well, come around the 2nd quarter, they're going to start resting him quite a bit just to avoid aggravating or risking further injury. Even if Barber starts off with 10 straight carries for 150 yards, Choice will still get double digit carries, no matter how well Barber plays or how healthy he looks.

That is a pretty strong claim. Are you suggesting that if Barber looks solid, has not evidence that the injury is effecting his play, that they will sit him for Choice? I agree Choice could see 8-10 carries no matter what, but if this scenario is happening, Barber is the solid play. Or am I missing something?

I am with you on that question. I think Choice has been told to expect a majority of work, but if Barber doesn't blow a gasket, I can't see why they won't use Barber more because of his blocking reliability..
