I don't think Lewis is necessarily right for Dallas, but they are in desperate need of leaders whether it be coach, LB, punt returner, whatever.

I'm not arguing that the team doesnt needs stronger leadership. They do.

But I don't see ANY rookie coach coming in and having success. That motley crew of characters NEEDS an experienced hand. Putting a rookie head coach on that team is a recipeit for even greater in-house chaos.

And Ray is kinda on the decline. And do we really need another high profile murder-associated player with that cast of characters? And thats not even getting to the salary cap issues.

Being both a Jets and Mets fan... well, I have "victim syndrome". Well, sort of an ex-Mets fan... I soured on MLB several years ago, after the threatened strike, the umpire strike, the YES network fiasco etc. If I watch a Mets game it's mostly to see the left side of the infield play baseball. Veeeeering off topic.....

I would much prefer an offensive specialist as head coach. This team is in need of an identity hopefully involving RUNNING the ball. The basics of a good defense are there. A better and more consistent offense will also go a long ways to helping an already solid D.
