Another day, another top player isn't healthy enough to participate in the NFL scouting combine.
Missouri wide receiver Danario Alexander, who has a history of knee problems, had surgery on his left knee Tuesday, according to SI.com.
So, he won't be able to take part in the combine or his Pro Day campus workout.
Alexander injured his knee at the Senior Bowl during a practice, but still played in the game.
A magnetic resonance imaging exam revealed cartilage defects.
The news comes one day after Georgia Tech wide receiver Demaryius Thomas broke a bone in his foot and was ruled out of the combine.
