Daniel Bullocks (1 Viewer)

Word is that the Lions aren't particularly interested in re-signing Terrence Holt. Bullocks is probably a better fit at FS. Most of his production came in relief of an injured Kenoy Kennedy at SS. His upside may be limited (DB3) if Kennedy is healthy and playing SS in 2007.

Man, after wathing DB his entire college career @ Nebraska, I just can't imagine him being anything but a SS. Josh Bullocks was the FS... it was perfectly clear why the 2 were lined up the way they were.

It'll take quite a few games for me to become a believer.

which of the Bullocks brothers has the better opportunity, etc that will translate into FF production? would you get the same answer if the question was: which one has better upside potential?

thanks in advance

tex

Daniel was the SS in college. Long term I would think he would be the one if you want tackle numbers.

For now, I'd rather have Daniel than Josh. For the second off-season in a row, the Saints seem to be entertaining as many safeties as will come -- signed three last year (Keith Davis RFA contract matched) and drafted one and multiple FA visits this year. While he wasn't named last year, Josh Bullocks has been called out by name in the local media as a candidate for replacement. With Roman Harper hopefully back and entrenched at SS, Bullocks upside was limited from a boxscore perspective anyway.Daniel Bullocks has always been considered the better all-around player of the two brothers. He won't have huge upside playing FS this year, but has proven himself capable at SS. Still, all reports last summer were that Detroit viewed him as the future FS so there's probably only minimal chance that he'll find himself there at some point in the future.
