Darrell Jackson EDITED: Now Probable (1 Viewer)

Sorry if this is a honda but..

Jackson missed practice Wednesday with a left foot injury and is listed as questionable, the Seattle Times reports.

Spin: The Seahawks have depth at receiver, but with Bobby Engram not likely to play they can't afford to lose Jackson. The good news is, though, the Seahawks play Monday, so Jackson will have an extra day to get healthy.

Any Seattle homers have any additional info on this??

I had heard yesterday that it was his surgically repaired knee, not a foot. Either way, it's the first practice he's missed this season which is pretty good for damaged goods.

I don't think there are any issues....but I seem to have rose colored glasses.

Mike Sando, of the Tacoma News Tribune, reports Seattle Seahawks WR Darrell Jackson (foot) missed practice Wednesday, Nov. 1, but he should start the Week 9 game. He is listed as probable on the team's injury report.

Darrell Jackson (probable) missed practice Wednesday due to a sore left foot.

The news is counter to reports that his surgically repaired knee was bothering him, but the situation should still be monitored. Jackson is expected to play Monday night against the Raiders and is a must-start. Nov. 2 - 10:35 am et

FROM ROTOWORLD

He was listed as probable on the official IR Wed night. Where is the questionable coming from?

Seahawks WR Jackson sits on Wednesday with sore knee

WR Darrell Jackson missed practice today for the first time since training camp ended. The team is listing him as probable with a sore knee. Jackson is walking without a limp and should be ready to go Monday night. He was receiving treatment during practice and therefore did not attend. LG Chris Spencer did not finish practice after injuring a knee, but he was walking around after practice. Floyd Womack was working with the starters at left guard. RT Sean Locklear watched practice but did not participate. He is probable with a sore ankle.

He is showing as questionable on the FF player pages on ESPN..

I hope its not to serious, I need a spectacular game out of him this week. Branch just got dropped by the owner that $20.00 of the WW for him 4 weeks ago. Same me a few bucks if branch is quit this week.

just dumped him for the rights to Calvin Johnson.. neither one of us heard about this...the guy was looking for Plax, but backed off because of his back.. maybe i did a good thing, Chad, henry and colston are my other (not that you care)

Could this be any less coherent?

I used to think those who called for a members-only board were a bit too elitist, but posts like these have me re-evaluating that stance.

It's great when the owner that $20.00 of the WW drops a stud wide receiver.I live for this.

Anyone have any further updates on this ?

Is it the foot or the knee ?

Will he play Monday or will this be something that will be going on for the remainder of the year ?

Just a lot of questions and no answers

anyone ?

That's great news. Now you don't get to find out if he's playing before you set your lineup on Sunday.
FWIW, small sample sizes, but last season 8 of 14 Questionable fantasy starters did play on Monday Night, for a 57% play rate. The overall Questionable play rate was about 50%.

unless someone can find something other than that original link from the Seattle Times saying he's questionable, the title of this thread should be changed, because he's listed as probable on NFL.com's injury report

Probable sounds better than Questionable - but Lamont was probable two weeks ago and screwed me hard by not playing. With the Monday night delay - conservative D Jax owners may want to look elsewhere unless more positive news is released by lineup time.

Basically, he's saying:I hope it's not too serious. I need a spectacular game out of him [Jackson] this week. Branch just got dropped by the owner that paid $20.00 for him via waiver wire auction 4 weeks ago. It will save me a few bucks if Branch is quiet this week

[editor's note: apparently the poster is concerned that a big game by Branch due to a Jackson injury will inflate the waiver auction value of Branch before he can acquire him, i.e. it will "same" him a few bucks, lol!!!].

Update bump. D-Jax did not practice again yesterday, but is still listed as probable. Given his status, and that Oakland actually has a good pass defense, is it a good idea to bench him this week?

I'm considering it - but I have a decent option in Berrian at Miami. If you have a solid backup to plug in I would consider benching D Jax and avoiding a potential zero. However, if your looking at lousy replacement then might as well roll the dice.
