Data Dominator - Awesome Tool (1 Viewer)

Sorry, I did post over in the Application Questions forum, but never got a single response in over a week. Figured I would try over here....

First off, I love it as a tool....just wondering how to get a little more info out of it. I was actually looking to do an article, and can get most of the info I need out of the tool.

So here goes:

Any way to see the number of games the player actually played? I was checking over a 16 week period, but you can't assume they all played all 16 games (injuries, suspensions, etc).

Second, is there a way to put in your own scoring system to calculate fantasy points? If not, how were the fantasy points calculated?

Also, with LT passing TDs in there, can there be a passing, rushing, receiving option? That could change some of those fantasy point totals

Thanks in Advance Guys.

This would be a much appreciated addition to an already great tool...would save us from cross referencing with game logs (in some instances).

As it is presently constructed, games played would not be an easy thing to extract. Easy or not, I need to figure out a way to do it, but I doubt it will happen any time soon. I wish I had a different answer on this.

Right now, it's just standard FBG scoring, which is 1 per 10, 1 per 20, 6 per RRTD, 4 per PTD, -1 per INT.

It's a stretch to just fit passing and rushing on there, so fitting all three is not going to happen. But, whether they display or not, all fantasy points are counted, as queries like this one will demonstrate. In other words, LT's passing fantasy points are in there even though you can't see them.

Thanks Doug....Most of those things I am able to work around...the nice one was the number of games played, so you could figure out on average # of fantasy points per game for that player. A player like Deion Branch looks low in 2004, but then he missed seven games that season. That was the main reason I was asking.I can just recalculate the scoring for our league inside of Excel. Also, just an FYI....I keep seeing this error when you try to list by alphabetical.

Warning: mysql_num_rows(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/football/public_html/datadom.php on line 527Your query returned records. Thanks again Doug for a Great Tool like the Data Dominator.
