Database of NFL Injuries (1 Viewer)

FBG or anyone know of a site with a database geared strictly towards documenting current/old NFL injuries?

It would be cool to see a players history of injury...dating maybe all the way back to college ....and see their games missed or took to return. I know every player heals differently, but maybe there could be even some comparative analysis with others players, at the same age, at the same position, with the same injury...? Sometimes the media/team doctors project return dates earlier than expected, ...but if there was a database we could query...maybe fantasy players could get a better idea of when to expect their playesr back. I understand content would have to be monitored every day,...maybe it doesnt even have value ... but I think it would be a cool feature...

Does this exist? What do you guys think

I don't think so. Question has been asked many times and always falls quicky from the 1st page. I'd love to see it. "...with the same injury". That's the problem, no two injuries or bodies are created equal. To keep a database, you'd have to log every injury that shows up on the IR. Frank Gore "tweaking" his ankle yesterday gets lumped in with a severe high ankle sprain. Heck, Bill Belechick alone would wreck the statistical average.

My guess is it's not done because outcomes would be purely for entertainment purposes and that's a ton of work to do for nothing.

I had a database, but stopped in 2005.
