David Harris extremely active today (1 Viewer)

I'm watching the Jets-Texans game, and Harris has been all over the place making tackles, breaking up passes, and getting sacks. Despite the Jets dominating the time of possession, he leads the team with 4 solos, 4 assists, a sack, and a pass defensed with time left in the 3rd quarter. Bear in mind that the Texans have only had 24 plays that have ended with a tackle, so he's been in on 1/3.

Sanchez looks sharp, too, btw.

I know someone around here predicted Harris was going to play like this **cough, cough ME, cough, cough**, I can't remember who though?

I know, it's only 1 game, 1 week, but from wha tI saw in preseason I thought Harris was going to be all over the field and toss in a sack here or there.

What kind of season can we expect from Harris? Better than Ryans and DJ Williams?

I am too much of a pansy to say "better" than them, but I think Harris is going to have an awesome year. I made this comparison before and I am sticking with it, think of Ray Ray a few years back when he was all over the field, that is the type season I think Harris can have. I think maybe a few less tackles and a few more sacks then Ray.

If the guy is playing Rays spot in the exact same system and he was already a young beast previously (which he was prior to his injury) then why wouldn't he put up Ray numbers. (I mean besides the fact that he's not Ray that is).

Anyway I got him off my dynastys wire during the spring. My linebacking crew is so official: Willis, DJ.Williams, Lauranitis, and now Harris, (not to mention Merrimann, Scott, A.Jordan, Pierce (by the way is it time to drop Pierce or what))
