i never start him ,but he always shows up, is it time i bench Gerald Hayes or Marcus Wahington in favor of thornton?

I had Thornton when he was a rookie in Indy. I thought he was their best LB and couldn't

understand why he was let go to the Titans. He is producing lately from the Strong side even though

that limits his production. I think he will be inconsistent, but would play him with good matchups and

see if he will work into an every week starter.

Indy felt that the scheme made the LB and not the LB making things happen.

Ten doesn't play the typical SLB/WLB scheme and instead the two sides are interchangeable, making Bullock and Thornton L and R OLBs. With the struggles of the offense the defense should see plenty of time on the field making Thornton IMHO an every week start. I would still watch some matchups but if I had him I would feel comfortable starting him each week.
