David Wilson (RB - Giants)

5 ft 10*

206 lbs*

4.49 forty*

41.0 vertical*
132 broad jump*

7.09 cone drill

4.12 20-yard shuttle (tie)

11.59 60-yard shuttle

Giovani Bernard (RB - Bengals)

5 ft 8

202 lbs

4.53 forty

33.5 vertical
122 broad jump

6.91 cone drill*

4.12 20-yard shuttle (tie)

11.41 60-yard shuttle*

Both players have VERY SIMILAR measurable with the only real difference between the two-players being Wilson's above-average vertical and broad jump measurables.

Interestingly enough, both players have similar 20-yard and 60-yard shuttles.

Wilson has better burst / explosiveness.
Bernard has better agility and is a very good pass-catcher.

Wilson would the the 1st pick in this draft by a landslide. Gio will be fine and much more than a CoP back, but he's not as dynamic

I see McCoy (Gio) and Spiller (Wilson) upside in these two. I have McCoy and Spiller right next to each other in my dynasty rankings, despite Spiller being much more dynamic.

I do like Wilson's situation a tad better, but the primary reason I voted for Wilson is becase I've seen Wilson display gamechanging ability at the pro level already. Gio could be that same type of player in the pros, but I just am not as confident about that with him (yet).

I'd rather have Wilson over Gio or any rookie from the 2013 class, today.

Straight up, I'd rather have Wilson. I do think it's closer than most people. But when factoring in cost (mid 2nd vs late 4th IIRC), I think I prefer Bernard.

Wilson seems to be the better talent but has two big flaws: fumbling and poor pass protection. That said Benard may be the better fantasy player in the long run b/c he may be a rare 3 down back.

Wilson the better talent? This line of thinking still exists?

I wasn't interested in Wilson at his ADP. I did draft Gio. However, I would've taken Wilson if he was there. You draft based on opportunity more than talent.

I think Wilson is probably the better talent. Unfortunately he's also not a very good football player. Which kinda means a lot.
