Sat, Jun 5: The Royals do not plan on recalling Gordon anytime soon, the Kansas City Star reports.

Recommendation: Since his demotion, Gordon has batted .364 while sporting a fantastic .504 OBP in 29 games, and yet general manager Dayton Moore said Friday that "there are some things offensively with his swing that he's working on." While 29 games at Triple-A is certainly no major indicator of future success, Gordon's level of domination makes his presence in Omaha seem unnecessary. With his bat clearly on track and the rave reviews of his defense in the outfield, it's unclear what more the Royals want Gordon to do to warrant a call-up.
