Smith did have more tackles while playing the same snap % as Winfeld so he's maybe a better start too. The diffrence between James and Smith was 2 tackles and 2 assts so maybe you play James and stash Smith or go really risky and play Smith

Agree with the above... Derwin James is a top 5 DB. If he is available, grab him.
Both of the Bucs DB's (Winfield and Smith) are good options as well. Some concerns with Winfield playing deep but he typically finds a way to be productive. And Smith looks like he could be quite the find this year, just note the small sample.
I'm with Gally... these guys shouldn't be on the waiver wire in a competitive IDP league.

How is that possible? In my league I need DB help, and am looking at guys like Xavier Watts and Riley Moss. I hold off on drafting any IDP in my league until I have 2 QB, 2 RB and 3 WR, and James was long gone by then(SFlex + IPD league, 31 player roster size, 14 teams). So yeah, add him, if you havent already.

I would have Hamilton and Branch over James.

I had both Branch and James rostered last year. Big fan of both (as well as Hamilton).
Traded James for Edgerrin Cooper in the offseason. Noticed some decline in James production for the first time last season. As physical as that guy plays, figure his body has a lot of miles on it for his age. And he has had some understandable injuries. The dude just plays violently. Thought I'd try to get a season ahead of any real decline.
