Safties Darren Sharper and Willie Offord both have knee injuries. Cornerback Brian Williams also left the game with a knee injury. Irvin played SS I believe but has the ability to play any of the DB positions. With the injuries mentioned above, he could get a lot of PT.

He put up good numbers Sunday (5 solos). Where is he playing? Cuz if he's logging time at FS then he's pretty good value because he is listed as a CB on a lot of sites. However, with the bye week some of the other DBs may get healthy enough that Irvin doesn't get as much time.
