Deangelo's current trade value? (1 Viewer)

I know there are other threads on williams himself. I have a hard time seeing him ever being consistent this year as long as stewart and newton are healthy.

That being said.. is it crazy to try and move him for a guy like Jackie Battle??? Any hope he still has some name value and can be traded for someone with some upside.

I hate feeling like Im selling at the bottom, but its hard to imagine him being any more than bye week filler.. and not even good filler at that

Just traded him for Santonio Holmes + Greg Little before week 6. I think his value is very close to Santonio Holmes.

I would trade him for Battle in a redraft. Dynasty it is close. 100:1 talent gap but 100:1 in the other way on situation, and he doesn't have enough years to weather it.

The running game in general may suffer again like last year. Otah has been placed on I/R. Don't know how the rest of the O-line is.

I don't think you could get Battle for him in a redraft. Whoever picked up Battle in your league probably used their top waiver pick and is hoping for a homerun. With the exception of one long TD run, Williams has been worthless.

In redraft, I traded him for Ingram after last week. The other guy had Srewart, which obviously helped, but Ingram seemed like the best target to get potential RB value at the time.

I jokingly broached the idea of sending my DWill for another owner's Pitt DST (he didn't know I was joking)....other owner declined. :bag:

I was able to somehow sell him for Brandon Lloyd before last week. Lloyd was on his bye and the guy desparately needed an RB. I threw in R. Bush as a sweetener.

Glad not to have that guy killing a roster spot anymore.

I wouldn't deal Battle for him in a redraft.

Stewart is a vastly superior RB. Better runner & receiver. (There's a good reason you don't see people clamoring for more D-Will carries. Stewart simply looks that much better). Cam is the goalline back. Stewart is the one in at the goalline. Williams is homerun or bust.

Even in the event of Stewart injury, I don't think his upside is great. Cam still goalline back & Goodson would play 3rds.

I'd equate the value of Williams at RB as the equal of Lee Evans at WR in years past. (Or about the equal as the modern version of Ryan Grant)

In an IDP dynasty league I dealt Williams and Clay Mathews for a 2nd and a 3rd. IDP scoring is tackle heavy and I was loaded at LB so Mathews was basically a throw in.

In dynasty I just shipped him for Javon Ringer. I figured the handcuff to CJ2K is more valuable than DeAngelo at this point.

For dynasty purposes...

I know we all hoped/expected Williams to leave Carolina but then he resigned. Isn't Stewarts contract up after this season? (if I am right in that memory) What are the chances they retain him? His value skyrockets if Stewart leaves.

As a Santonio Holmes and JStew owner I wouldn't deal Holmes for him in a redraft unless I was desperate for RB help.

Stewart is signed through 2012 ....

Yesterday I traded DWill/DHB/David Nelson for Decker/Pierre Thomas

Im high on Decker with Lloyd gone, and with 2 flexes and my WRs being Nicks/SMoss/ABrown/Damian Williams, he instantly becomes at worst my WR3 and should be consistent enough where he's a weekly start (where DHB was approaching that possibly, but who knows how his rapport ends up with Palmer). I viewed DNelson as the end of my bench, he wouldve been the next player I dropped, likely next week for IDP bye week fill ins. I have Ingram so I feel much better now with Pierre, if 1 gets injured, the other will be a mid-high end RB2.

So essentially I traded DWill and my WW WR from last week for Decker and my #2 RBs handcuff. Feeling good about it. I also feel good that I dont have to be tempted to start DWill when he has a good matchup.

Traded away Deangelo, Dez, and Avant for Mathews and LT in a PPR Keeper league. I am unable to keep Dez again, and still have Fitzgerald, AJ Green, Maclin, and Mike Williams TB at WR.

Very happy with the Deangelo to Mathews upgrade :)

He just got dropped in 2 of my redraft leagues. I don't intend to pick him up either.

If I had just him he would have been gone to waivers a couple weeks ago. But also have Stewart so the only real play is to keep them both on the bench in case of injury. Then the other is a low-end RB2. Whoopee.

Just traded Eli and DeAngelo for SJax

Still have Stafford, and Im been shopping DWill ever since his big game and no one wanted him. Threw him in for name value and got the best player in return now with SJax

I cant believe I was able to trade him off both my teams thhe last few weeks. Ecstatic!

In a competitive .5 PPR 12 team redraft league he was traded straight up for Moreno today.
I have actually seen that reported about three times now, except it has been in dynasties. In dynasty, seems to be a fair trade between frustrated owners.

I can't believe people are able to trade DeAngelo "10 for 33" Williams for anything. He's been bouncing around our waiver wire for weeks.

In dynasty, maybe? I have JSTEW in a league or two and have to admit I have thought of making an offer just to hold them together.

Might be trading him + 2012 1st (late) for Brandon Lloyd in a dynasty league.
Done deal. It was my 1st round pick and I'm undefeated, so it will be late. Also, it's a salary cap league and DeAngello's contract was almost 10% of my cap - very happy to get him off the books (Lloyd is dirt cheap).

I am outright dropping him for a gamble on a opponents handcuff - either Ricky Williams or Deji Karim.

He started one time all season for me and at this time he's nothing more than a handcuff for Stewart - I'd rather have a Rice or MJD handcuff than Stewart's

Considered that myself. Hoping they ask him to take a paycut at the end of the year and he refuses. He's worthless on that team.

Redraft here so feel there is very little value left in him. May as well take the gamble with high reward handcuffs....
