Dear Giants....... (1 Viewer)

pleae don't kill Michael Vick this weekend.

That is such a crappy matchup for Vick owners. Between their pass rush and Philly's terrible O-line, I'm worried about Vick.

Has the rookie DE they drafted in the first been playing? Was thinking about that this morning; the Giants drew some criticism for that pick, but now with Vick likely resigning in Philly, may work out very well. They should give the Jets some extra hotdogs to sell one weekend for Gholston next year. Throw him out against the Eagles and let him run around like a chicken with his head cutoof (what he does best) to cause some more confusion on the line.

Over the last three games Pierre-Paul has had 4 sacks (Most of them late IIRC, with all 4 coming in the first two of those games). Almost had one against Minny late in the game as well. The bloke is ridiculous, just needs to learn the nuances of the position. He's got the athleticism and aggression already.

I'd really like to thank the Giants for shutting down Mr Peterson however :kicksrock: And for making it seem like Steve Smith was back and good to go so my opponent started him.

Thank you Giants! You won me my playoff matchup!

Pierre-Paul isn't a starter but he's in the mix and is in when they use 3 DEs. He had 2 sacks each game prior to the Minn game.

Hoping for lots of check downs/screens to Shady this week.

I'm just hoping they run the ball more so that Osi, Tuck, Pierre-Paul don't send him to IR. If there is anytime for the Eagles to start running the ball a little more it's this game.

That works for me.

Thanks for the info...seemed like overkill the first time around when they drafted Tuck, but that is their scheme and looks as though they are now 5-6 more years going to be dominant on the line. I do think it is interesting as Washington will most likely be scrambling to find a DE to try to contain Vick and the G-men are already set.

So Vick is done in Philly, you say? Does this mean they are going with Kolb next year? Is Vick quitting the league, or just quitting the Eagles? Doesn't seem like the best move to me.... :goodposting:
