Decision Confirmed: University of South Florida (2 Viewers)

I've had an epiphany.
And that is?
First of all, I'm a fool for having as much credit card debt as I do. I'm losing easily $100 a month on interest. My money in my stock and 401K is not earning enough to offset this interest.

Cashing in all my savings today to start paying off my debt.
Or, you could take out a cash advance on one of those credit cards, place it all on a team playing tonight, and have it all paid off by tomorrow morning.

if only someone had made those suggestions in every thread you've ever started.

Have you calculated yet how much you've lost on gambling and had a similar epiphany?

Dude, I'm in a conference room right now by myself with the door shut. I just ripped such a loud fart, not only do I think the people in the conference room next to me heard it, but also people walking by in the hallway.

As I'm typing this I did it again.

You can't see into our conference rooms, so I'm going to try and sneak out of here without anyone knowing it was me setting off those bombs.

That's all the advice I can provide in here today.

:lmao:

Second off, I spend too much money on drugs and alcohol. That's more money that could be used to pay off my debts which are accruing interest. In a roundabout way since I'm boozing instead of paying my debts, I'm paying interest on the booze.

I'm literally getting juiced on drinks that didn't get me laid 6 months ago.

A couple of weeks back, I was working away in my office listening to music on my headphones. Leaned forward a bit as a bigger than normal gas bubble was on it's way. It felt great letting a solid 5-7 second burst of gas out my hole.

Didn't think too much of it until I saw people looking in my window either horrified or red from laughter. A crowd of 7-10 of my co-workers were outside my door talking, laughing, pointing in. I had completely forgotten that the AC wasn't on and the vent basically sent the sound to all offices around me. I also didn't take into consideration that my butt made the perfect angle on a leather chair and amplified the sound a bit more than normal.

When I stood up to apologize, everyone started waving their arms in the "No, no, no" motion. No one wanted me to open my door after that. And that's when I lost it too.

For some reason, it didn't smell at all. So I kinda won but mostly lost some dignity.

Em, you are following a path similar to mine. I moved to Ft Myers when I was about 24.

The rest of the path is not very similar though. I had already finished college and started my career a couple of years earlier. And, I moved in with my girlfriend in her apartment who had moved down there a few months earlier. We never even considered buying a house at that time since we were in our early 20s and were not sure how long we were going to stay in Ft Myers or FL. I had stopped smoking weed a couple of years earlier as well. I also had a new truck and motorcycle rather than a broken down clunker that was ready to blow up at any minute.

OK. Maybe our paths are not all that similar.

You have been given plenty of solid advice by many posters. Here is my simple version. Pay off your CC debt. Do not buy a house. You have no idea how much cost is involved. Rent an apartment with a roommate. Get your BS.

:ptts:

If we convince Em not to buy a house, then I'll be a little disappointed that we will ultimately miss out on a thread regarding his trials and tribulations of attempting to sell a $30,000 crack den that has been inhabited by debt-laden college students for a few years.

Guess what? It doesn't matter because it is all shtick anyway. Em isn't really planning to buy a house! I know, that just blew your mind.I think the best course of action for Em is to provide us with his options, set up a poll and let us vote on how he should proceed. It will be like a Choose Your Own Adventure book.

It's definitely looking like USF is going to be much less expensive that FGCU. Looks like I'm going to be a USF Bull. I'll get to go to their CFB games. Student loans will cover the entire tuition and it looks like I'll he able to work part-time to get by.

Parents are considering helping me buy something cheap in St. Petersburg. Economics looks like the play and it'll be a 2-year graduation window for my Bachelors. I want to get a place with a basketball hoop out front, a pool table in the garage, and a entertain suite with multiple TVs so I can watch and bet on multiple sports at once.

amazeballs dude. congrats. i cant wait to start reading about your adventures with the beatiful ladies of florida.

get the place and than watch the babes spreading their legs to get an invite to your crib.

If you're going to the St. Pete campus the football stadium is about a good hour away and you will be on the satellite campus. The main campus is about 80-90 minutes away. Most people attending SP do so for night classes and are older, even though I've heard they are trying to buff their daytime class load up.

It's nowhere near the college experience you are expecting. That would be in Tampa.

So in Illinois, Em was unable to get chicks despite his competition looking like this.

And now he thinks he's gonna score with the competition looking like this?

Satellite campus...amazing. might as well attend rutgers:Newark or Penn state: Scranton
The SP 'campus' is one building (it's a big building). Tampa has dozens and dozens of buildings with a new million dollar student center. Lol.

He's basically going to be going to class with Pam, the accountant lady who works up the street.

But she's going to fall for Em and his crack house's opulent furnishings.

There's one mediocre restaurant on campus there. It serves sandwiches and frozen soups. I dated a Russian accountant who took night classes there so I spent a lot of time there 5 years ago.

There is literally nothing to do on that campus. She didn't know how to drive so I would ferry her around. I would go to my car and nap. A couple of times I even just sat in class with her.

Well if there's nothing to do, then wouldn't that make Em's pad even more the place to be?
