Deebo or Pickens Week 1 FLEX STARTER? (1 Viewer)

Hey everyone. I wanted to get your take on who you believe should start in week 1 of my fantasy team.

My starting WRs are Justin Jefferson and Michael Harrison Jr. I am comfortable leaving them to to start at WRs given their week 1 match ups.

In FLEX though, I have to choose between Deebo S. or George Pickens. It's a tought choice between the two considering that they both have challenging matches this weekend

Deebo S. will have to tend with arguably the Jets, arguably thebest defense in the league with a solid secondary. Pickens will see the Texas DBs who's statistically do well against WR matchups.

What do you guys think? Start Deebo or Pickens at FLEX?

I probably lean Deebo since the 49ers are at home. They likely want to get the ball out quick and to their playmakers. I do like Pickens this year but Russ is already banged up and we don't know who is playing QB yet. Pickens could be a target monster but for game 1 I likely go with Deebo at home vs Pickens on the road in ATL with ? at who is starting QB.

It is close though.

Deebo but it’s more an anti Russsss thing than an anti Pickens pick.

Depends if you want a ceiling game or a floor game. Deebo can post your league's season high any week. Or give you 5 points. Pickens should be productive every week, but fewer game-winning highs.
