I have seen some disparate rankings this week. What say you?

No Jets vs. Chiefs?

No Jags vs. Browns?

It depends on your scoring system. If fewest points scored is worth a lot, the Jets are your pick as KC's offense is anemic. If sacks are big, the Pats are a good aggressive DST unit. For turnovers, Favre is always good for an INT or two OR the Bucs may take advantage of Brad (but allow lots of points and yards in the process)

For the next three weeks, I'll take the Jags as total points scored will be low.

2 of those are probably on the waiver wire and the other 3 probably sit on someone's roster as they are 3 of the top fantasy defenses.

I assume you have 1 or 2 of the top 3 and are wondering if you want to splurge for a waiver wire pick?

But out of those I'd have to go with NE. But they better keep pressure on Bulger as Avery will get behind their secondary more than once. If SJax is not 100% or doesn't play then their job is alot easier.

EDIT TO ADD: And the weather could make slow down the offenses in this game as well. 70% chance of rain with 18mph winds.

But you have to love the Jets this week eh? No LJ and with Thigpen starting? But maybe they aren't on your waiver wire.

Not this year. Top 10 in fewest yards allowed per game and pts scored, and top 5 in avg pts per game. Bucs are one of the safest bets around right now.
