DEF/ST to exploit week 1 (1 Viewer)

I have Green Bay and the Minnesota Vikings rostered in different leagues.

In both of my leagues there are two very tantalizing teams available for week 1:

Cincy DEF/St vs Broncos or

Saints DEF/ST vs Detroit

Does anyone think going with one of these defenses is a good move for week 1?

I hate pseudo board monitors like restricted. I did not ask for draft advice. I am just trying to figure out a good start for week 1. There is a big difference.

Seattle v Rams does sound good.

I took it as you copied the title of two very good threads that took the posters good time and work to put together so you could ask if you should start the Packers or the Vikings D. Sorry if you intended otherwise.

Starting anyone vs the lions looks good? Pick them up and start them?

With no Trufant, Seattle's secondary is suspect, at best. They should have a decent pass rush and may be ok against the run, but expect them to give up a lot of big plays this year.

I like the Seattle defense, though they are a little dinged up. In the league where they were drafted, I'm going with the Saints v. the Lions.

Saints DEF vs Lions has all the ingredients of a huge week for the Saints DEF. A rookie QB that has been a bit inconsistent in the first week of the season smells like a great matchup.

I'm trying to decide between Seattle or Cincinnati.

I like the Seahawks matchup better, but with their secondary banged up they could give up some big plays to Avery or Robinson. Denver is hurting at QB, but it's just hard for me to get over the stench that I associate with the Bengals def.

May just stick with the JETs DEF, even though they play Hou.

How is the Saints Run DEF? I think Kev. Smith could have a big day against NO.....which would open up the passing game

I'm betting Orton won't play or he won't play well (what a limb!) so I drafted the Bengals and plan to play them. That seems like the best you can get this week, especially considering they started showing glimpses of being a legitimate defense last year.

I like the Bengals D in general this year - the week one start against an offense in complete disarray is a gift. Of course that means the donks will light it up, but operating rationally I'm starting the Bengals D wherever I can.

what is Bulger's status week 1? It's been eerily quiet about him. I like Seattle at home vs. the JV Rams. Seattle is a pretty tough place to play and the Rams line is pretty bad.
