All the teams left rely on their stout defenses. When I looked up the stats I thought maybe all were in the top 5 but Chicago is ninth. The other three remaining teams are all top 5 defenses. The more things change, the more they stay the same. Defense is definitely winning a championship this season.

Since when has defense not contended for a championship? There have been some outliers but really, this is not new.

PS. The real winner of championships is defense....and !offense! together.

Well... if you score 14 and win.. your defense won you the game... if you score 35 and loose.... your offense didnt score enough.. which means.. your defense lost the game..

Its easier to score 14 points than it is to score 35 points.. so Defense wins... at the least games..... which can lead to championships...
