A handcuff is when you do not expect to start that player unless the player in front of him is injured.
Example: Michael Turner and Maurice Morris should not be started, or expect to see much action (minus the occasional carry) unless LT2 and Alexander are out.
A RBBC (or couple, as you use) is when you probably could start either of the RBs and get some value on a week to week basis.
Example: Currently, it sounds like both Julius Jones and Marion Barber will get some action each week in Dallas. Last year in Pittsburgh, many times a team would stary Willie Parker while a different team would start Jerome Bettis and each would get some decent points.
RBBCs are usually drafted together or close by in the middle rounds of a draft.
A handcuff is usually drafted at the end of the draft when you drafted the starter in the first couple of rounds.
