Delaware Park NFL betting (1 Viewer)

Wondering if anyone has been there recently to partake in the nfl parlay cards. Curious to check it out some Sunday to drink beer watch games and do some parlay cards. Sounds like a no brainer trek from Philly but not much positive to say online. Yelp and tripadvisor reviews not glowing. How much of a dump could it be? Anyone go there?

Delaware Park hasn't made a concentrated effort to attract the 12 hour Sunday NFL viewer....to the point that I don't even know if they want to, and instead are content to get you to place your bets and get out. I'm sure they could make money hand over fist if they invested in a standalone bar (they have enough property) that was the central point of the football betting, as they don't have a sports bar/real nice place to watch the games. What they do have are a couple of big rooms with round tables and walls of TV's and almost non-existent alcohol and food service.

If you plan on supplementing the football with some horse race betting, table games, slots, etc.....then it's not as bad as there's a couple of small bar areas on the casino floor....but its not a very lively place on Sundays during football.

Thanks for the info. That makes no sense! How hard is it to have a bar with multiple tvs going with different games showing. Idiotic!

ANy place allowing any type of sports betting, especially NFL, should be raking it in, and raking in hoards of people.

Maybe they think the fantasy crowd wont show cause they are at home on their computers.

But yeah, a few TVs and a room with some seats. Seems pretty simple

I think I'll show up with a few racks and start throwing cash around like a drunken sailor and then demand to the pit boss that they create a high end sports bar/sports book. That should go well. Especially if I drink heavily.

Part of it is that a decent number of the bars in the state have the ability to place wagers.....so if most guys are drinking...they'll just go to their regular bar, bet there and drink.
