Delhomme limited against Atlanta? (1 Viewer)

This was posted in the player news section of my leagues web site.

Then it links you to this site.

I've heard nothing or seen anything that indicates that he's hurt.

Am I missing something?

This is big as my only other option is Brad Johnson, on the road, against the Redskins.

BTW the link connects you to CBS sportsline however my league is hosted on Netcommish. THey have player news links that direct you all around the web for player news.

It's just a way of "them" saying he needs to focus on his plays. He lost 6 fumbles last year and can sometimes force a throw that shouldn't have been thrown. It's fancy-speak for "Carolina is aware of his (at times) inadequate decisions and that he needs to be sure of his presence and focus in the game against Atlanta this week."

-no worries on anything injury related.

Limited means he needs to focus?

I know, it doesn't make sense to me either, but this is what CBS SL said about it... Jake Delhomme, QB CARNews: Jake Delhomme, 31, is coming off his first Pro Bowl appearance last season, completing a career-high 60.2 percent of his passes for 3,421 yards with 24 touchdowns and 16 interceptions in 2005. A natural leader in the huddle, players tend to respond to him and play harder (example: Steve Smith). Delhomme has a strong defense, so it's vital that he stays away from mistakes and forcing the ball into coverage. In the same breath, the Panthers don't want to handcuff Delhomme's creativity, which is one of the things that make him a very good quarterback. Delhomme needs to do a better job of holding on to the ball after getting hit. He turned the ball over six times last season on fumbles.

Limited to the fact that there is a 50/50 chance he may be wothout Steve Smith?
