Has this happened? He seems to be very cognizant of his words with respect to Hillary. I missed the "debate" last night, but to this point all he's done is point out her ties to Wall Street and contrasted that to himself. DId he lose his marbles and go "deranged wingnut" last night?

I took this to mean "He wouldn't be as appealing to me if he did that", not that he has necessarily done it.

When does he do that? I don't follow it as closely as most here but he seems to bend over backwards to not attack her when I'm listening- many think to the detriment of his own chances to win.

My point was meant to be that he doesn't (I agree that I should have edited my last sentence). Some of his supporters here do, but that's their prerogative. I get that among some of Bernie's supporters Hillary is the devil. But I think that if Bernie had come out of the gate with a message like that, the mainstream Democratic reaction would have been, "this guy is damaging the party."

Instead, I think a lot of the party has been willing to admit that Bernie's Scandinavian style of "socialism" should be represented within the party. That's a good thing.

Since I've been old enough to vote, here's how I've voted in the Presidential elections...

1992 - GHWB ®

1996 - Clinton (D) - I dunno, maybe because I was in college?

2000 - GWB ®

2004 - GWB ®

2008 - McCain ®

2012 - Romney ®

I was raised very conservative and the word socialism was a dirty word. I live a comfortable middle class life and own a small business. I'll be voting for Bernie Sanders if he's on the ballot come November. If Bernie can get my vote, he can get just about anyone's.

 
Is this the thread where Tim endlessly repeats his opinion about Bernies unelectability? Or are there numerous threads where that is occurring?

 
Since I was only home in time to watch Hillary's portion last night, I watched Bernie's segment on youtube today. VERY good performance. Knocked many of those questions out of the park, including his idea of democratic socialism and how he plans to pay for his proposals - two of the biggest questions for undecided voters, IMO. I was already a huge Bernie fan before watching, but came away liking him even more.

And yes, Cuomo's treatment of Bernie vs. his treatment of Hillary was laughably different. Pointing out and asking multiple follow-ups about Bernie's ONE main flip-flop (on gun manufacturer liability, not exactly a hot-button issue in 2016), but not pointing out ANY of Hillary's, even after she made claims like "I've been fighting for homosexual equality for 40 years?" Come on. :lmao:

She's trying to make it look like Sanders would repeal obamacare and then try to create medicare for all. Sanders needs to do a better job explaining that's not true.

 
Hillary swerving far left to win when she claim she was a moderate just months ago.
