Sometimes the gossips get one right. It doesn't mean they're not gossips. As for Sauerbrun, he's always struck me as the punting equivalent of Vanderjagt.Yet ANOTHER story PFT broke first. But they make stuff up. Jason Wood says so.
They do that fairly frequently.Yet ANOTHER story PFT broke first.
He's in a weight-loss contest with Janikowski. Can't understand why he's using this stuff. He's overweight, sure, nobody's clocking him in the 40, anyway.
No he wasn't. He was ACCUSED of using steroids when he was with the Panthers. If he were BUSTED for using steroids, he would have faced some sort of disciplinary action for it. In fact, none of the 4 players named faced any disciplinary action over the incident.I'm not saying that they didn't use steroids (although, I must admit, since none of them were busted it looks a little bit like somebody was stretching the truth somewhere), I'm just saying that the NFL never disciplined them- and if the NFL caught a player using steroids, you can REST ASSURED that there would be hell to pay. Nobody in the NFL Front Office is stupid enough to do what MLB did.He was busted for steroids when he was with the Panthers, so by comparison ephedra seems kind of tame.
I'm going by memory (although I'm sure it's easy enough to look up), but I think he was busted for "filling an illegal prescription," not for testing positive for them.No he wasn't. Going by my memory, he wasn't busted for anything, he was just accused of it. I mean, if he was busted for breaking the law or breaking an NFL rule, then he would be facing consequences for it. Also, why would he fill the prescription and then not take them? The story broke over a year after he allegedly filled this prescription, but he didn't fail a single drug test.I'm not saying that the story was false, I'm just saying that I maintain a healthy level of skepticism about it, considering not ONE of the named players has faced any disciplinary action of any kind from the team or the government.I'm going by memory (although I'm sure it's easy enough to look up), but I think he was busted for "filling an illegal prescription," not for testing positive for them.No he wasn't. (Rotoworld) Broncos cut P Todd Sauerbrun Tuesday rather then welcome him back from a four-game suspension.Impact: Denver will continue to go with P Paul Ernster, who did well relieving for Sauerbrun. Sauerbrun seems likely to get signed elsewhere quickly.Update - Sauerbrun has been cut by the Broncos. Wonder where he'll roll on to next.-QG

See the subject of the thread...The guys that were way over weight and quadrupled the dosage were the ones who had problems.
Well they both did play in Morgantown...As for Sauerbrun, he's always struck me as the punting equivalent of Vanderjagt.
