Denver at New England (1 Viewer)

I guess helmet to helmet doesn't apply against a running back?
RB in the open field isn't a defenseless receiver.
Pretty sure helmet to helmet is illegal at anytime bub
Weird how it happens all the time without flags then. Bub.
What does this response have to do with defenseless receivers? Nothing? K. Should have been a flag bub
HtH is legal with a few exceptions, defenseless receivers being the most obvious.

Helmet to helmet is legal against a running back. Just the rules. Read a book instead of getting indignant.

*not you, Sweeney. The indignant guy.

See? Their plan to make denver play sloppy d is working perfectly. They're going to be exhausted in the second quarter.

I thought a player can't lead with their head

Also incorrect, with exceptions.

Happened to Pierre Thomas in '11 and it was repeatedly stated that helmet to helmet was legal. The rules were changed so that RBs couldn't lead with their head, but defenders pretty much could against both RBs and running QBs.

This is the third time the Pats have stalled the Broncos drives.

If the Pats can get a takeaway they're back in it.

Can't wait to watch the SB being played in even worse weather than this! Stone handed WRs, fumbles and inaccurate QBs since none of them can feel their hands. Glad Roger got a raise though.
