Yeah, that'd be injuries + the fact that he's only #2 on the depth chart. Perry, when healthy, is a great fit in CIN. He'll provide them with a RB that can catch passes out of the back field. WAY too early to write him off in my book.

You're right, it's too soon to write him off. But the early indications are not promising at all. The comparison to Larry Johnson fits at this point in time. But once again, injuries aren't the only thing keeping Perry off the field. He has not picked up the system anywhere near as quickly as the coaching staff hoped. As far as being a good fit, I've seen nothing from Johnson the past two seasons that would indicate he shouldn't be the Bengals' starting RB long-term.
