I'm going to be in Denver for Thanksgiving and I'm planning on going to the game. What's the scalping situation like?

I go to a lot of baseball games out of town and I always get some brokered tickets and some scalped tickets. The scalped tickets are almost always a much, much better deal than the brokered tickets.

Anybody have any insight on the Broncos ticket situation? Should I just spend the jack with a broker or will I be safe waiting and getting some tickets in town? Or what about in-town ticket sales (as opposed to buying on-line from a Stub-hub).

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

You'll be able to find scalpers. They are predominantly on the west side of the stadium, and the road leading up to Invesco. I would estimate it will be 50-70 for nosebleeds. Of course you could always stubhub or EBay it.

Mile High is flooded with scalpers. Tickets are easy to find and often had for face. Act like you know.

what does that mean? .. i've noticed this all over the place ...
it means I want to follow this thread and see other peoples replies, but don't really have anything to add myself. Back in the old days a thread that you posted in had a big black dot on the envelope instead of a white corner - this smilie is a throwback to those days.

I had a nose bleed seat for the Cowboy game ($37 face value-- section 501 in the corner) . The were going for over $150 on the street. The stadium had apile of Cowboy fans there...so prices were being driven up.

A couple of things to keep in mind..

It's a night game and alot will depend on the weather...could be beautiful and in the 60's or a foot of snow and damn cold...I'd wait to see -because if it is really cold a lot of people will change their mind.

Since it is a night game on Thanksgiving there will be a lot of people changing their mind about going at the last minute cause of too much turkey..keep an eye on craigslist starting in the morning, later in the day you may find some people deciding not to go. You may pay a bit more than scalping ...but it will be less of a hassle.

Stop by the old Brooklyns - I think it is Mile High Station now, it's below Colfax in the South parking lot. A lot of people choose this as a meet up place and when a person bails people have extras.

Also check by the train drop off (south east corner) - as people get off train they may have an extra there.
