Who's the Broncos' #2 RB?

Broncos RB Cecil Sapp is "getting more repetitions at tailback than at any other time as a pro since his 2003 rookie season," per the Rocky Mountian News. Sapp has been taking 2nd-team offense reps away from Mike Bell in recent minicamps. "He's in that rotation, and we want to see how much he can do and how much he can absorb so we know exactly how much we can do with him," said OC Mike Heimerdinger. Sapp, who's coming off a broken tibia last December, carried only 10 times last season but had a few big gains of 28, 20 and 11 yards. The News reports Sapp actually has surgical plates in *both* legs because of a fracture at Colorado State in 2002. Wow. It sounds like Sapp is a determined player who could challenge Mike Bell for Travis Henry's caddy gig.

Sapp is the shark move right now, maybe worthless when more is known about Henry, but could be gold if the news is not good. My hope is Henry is ok, but you never know.

Sapp is a creative runner, I watched him w/ the CSU Rams. I never, EVER, thought he would come anywhere near a fantasy roster. He might be a sign and trade.

it`s addition by subtraction at this point
I've seen Bell and Sapp listed as Henry's back-up so I was just curious what other's thought about the situation. I hope Henry is OK but if he is not then someone else has to tote the rock. Right?

Sapp was recently passed on the Broncos' depth chart by Mike Bell. Showing good power as usual, Bell totaled 51 rushing yards on 10 rushes. Fifth-stringer and undrafted rookie Selvin Young gained 27 yards on four carries

Why is Sapp still listed as the #2 on the Bronco's official page?
