About 12 years ago, San Diego was leading at Denver and Elway was driving the Broncos to either a tie or win.
They were inside the 10 with less than a minute left. Elway rolled to his right, went to throw and the ball slipped out of his grasp in the air right to Junior Seau for a game saving interception.
Almost the exact same play and situation as Sunday except for the ball hitting the ground and the dead ball whistle.
The other strange thing was that I had Elway in that game and Cutler in this one.
Anyone remember this remarkably similar play?
