Denver starting RB - odds for week 11 ? (1 Viewer)

Tatum Bell - 45 % - If healthy I think Shanny make him the starter but if anyone watched the game he isn'e healthy.

Mike Bell - 20 % - maybe Shanny realizes making him inactive was stupid and he lets Mike Bell varry the load.

Damien Nash - 25 % - obviously Shanny has a fixation with this guy to move him ahead of Bell and Cobbs

Cedric Cobbs - 5 % - Shanny just doesn't like the guy as IMO the is the greatest runner they got but Shanny just won't give him a chance

Cecil Sapp - 5 % - wasn't Droughns a FB as well ?

So Who do you think starts week 11 for the Denver broncos ?

Lord knows who will start next week or the week after that.

I always thought Shanny liked Cobbs but am also surprised he hasn't gotten a chance (yet). Cobbs is available in both my leagues, so I will probably add him just for the heck of it. You never know...

Cobbs has the physical tools but not the mental tools.

T. Bell, any way you slice it is more of a straight line speed change of pace back (think Michael Bennett).

M.Bell, has more wiggle and ability to take it up the middle is fairly quick but not real fast.

Nash should be back on the practice squad or at best running with the scout team.

My opinion is they should run M. Bell as the feature and change it up or mix in T. Bell and then I believe they would have one heck of a 1-2 punch.

I didn't see the Week 10 game but by looking at the stats it appears that TBell is playing on two bad wheels that will only get better with rest.

MBell has good quickness and speed and cutback but poor vision as he runs right into the defense on the runs that I saw.

If both are healthy I'd want Tatum but when will he get a chance to heal up his two turf toes? Maybe now is the time to buy Tatum low and if he gets rest then he'll be ready for his good matchups in weeks 15, 16 and 17.

I've been saying this for months, Tatum can't carry 25 a game, give it to Mike on first 2 downs and goal line. He'll grind out 2-3 yards a carry and give you the 3rd and short you need. Tatum comes in on 3rd downs and occasionally can break a long one, but this experiment with him as the featured RB is not good for the Broncos in the long run.

As I watch Caddy struggle, is there any chance that Cobbs could get the call...or am I so desperate that it is making sense in my head? Mike Bell was inactive last week. Tatum is hurt. What if they put in Cobbs, and he went nuts?

Bump. Any thoughts on this? I know it has been done to death, but mostly about the Bells. With the new developments (M.Bell inactive...T. Bell Toe) Can someone else step in? You know The Rat won't tell anyone, he will probably just do it.

I know Tatum is the starter but they really need to rest his toes a week or two, its more important that he's healthy for the playoffs. I'm sure Mike, nash or Cobbs can hold the fort until then.

seriously.... if you have any of the Denver backs, trade them for whatever you can get for them. TRUST ME... the peace of mind is worth it.

Really, you don't take any risks on a Denver RB seeing how they have Arizona in week 15 and Cinncy in week 16?

Shanny said that he wanted Maroney in the draft, but they couldn't pass on Cutler, and they weren't able to move back into the 1st round to jump ahead of New England. I'm salivating just THINKING of Maroney in Denver's backfield. I don't think it would be a stretch to suggest that in fantasy drafts next year, he would go #3 overall behind LT and LJ.
