Derek Carr, Dak Prescott or Tyrod Taylor? (1 Viewer)

My Week 15 dilemma.

Carr at San Diego

Prescott at home vs Tampa Bay or

Taylor at home vs Cleveland

My most expense league ($150 entry fee) and a bye week saved me from starting Carr which would have been my first choice. I have Prescott penciled in at the moment since I think TB is a better matchup and he can overcome last weeks debacle, fantasy wise against The Giants. But would appreciate anyone's thoughts or input...

Here is the QB scoring:

Number of Passing TDs

0-100

6 points each

Passing Yards

1-999

.1 point for every 2

Pass Interceptions Thrown

0-10

-1 point each

Passing 2 Pointers

1-100

2 points each

Number of Rushing TDs

0-100

6 points each

Rushing Yards

1-999

.1 point for every 1

Rushing 2 Pointers

0-100

2 points each

I know logic says Taylor vs Cle but in rolling with Dak.  He has few bad games but vs good defenses and I think Dallas cones out fired up this week.

I am in a similar situation: Carr, Prescott, or Palmer. I don't think it is a matter of which scores. I think it is a matter of which one scores the most. Oakland is in a scary spot. They have to keep winning or they could drop drastically down in the playoff picture. Dallas wants to close it out so they don't have to go crazy with starters the next 2 weeks. They won't rest them completely after this week, but they are going to go off against a week TB Def at home.

In your case, I would never start Taylor over Carr or Prescott.

Bump for some more input.

I have Prescott penciled in but am a bit nervous as all the rankings seem to have Carr ranked about him. Taylor is out of consideration.

I would go with Carr.  That game will be a shootout and Carr will be slinging it.  I could see the Cowboys relying heavily on Elliott because of Dak's recent struggles.  Taylor is not in the conversation.

Thanks. I am starting to lean back towards Carr, glad neither is playing tonight so I got a few more days to make my final call.

However, I was just reading Pat Daugherty's rankings at Rotoworld, He has Carr at QB9 and Prescott QB15. His comments about Carr's pinkie injury may have some merit:

Derek Carr’s Week 14 was as pathetic as possible. It probably knocked you out of the fantasy playoffs if you started him. If you survived, he could provide an apology against the Chargers. “Could” because Carr hasn’t been the same since injuring his pinkie, completing just 47.3 of his passes over his past two appearances. Carr had previously converted at least 60 percent of his throws in every 2016 start. He’s a risk/reward proposition against the shootout-prone Chargers. …
