Derrick Harvey signs (1 Viewer)

On the 33rd day of the holdout, Harvey agreed to basically take the Jaguars’ last offer, although the incentives were changed to make them easier to get.

Harvey will get $17.175 million in guaranteed money, $23.8 million in base package and $33.4 million in max package, including incentives and escalators.

The incentives were originally tied to 70 percent play time but now range from 55 percent to 75 percent.

So basically he didn't get anything except made the incentive very slightly easier to get. I wouldn't be shocked to see this guy miss training camp on a yearly basis, some guys hate training camp enough to pull stunts like this. He's playing on a real contender, it's not like he was jerking around the Bengals or Chiefs here, I bet he is thought of like scum in the locker room, good job rookie!

Which is break even given the fact that the time he missed will mean reduced opportunities to reach his incentive anyway. This was a truly stupid holdout.

I don't think that was the case at all. :lmao: I think this is a case of an agent convincing a rookie he was worth more than the team was willing to pay. Harvey doesn't even have a clue as to how much damage he's caused to his rookie season. I'm willing to side more towards ignorance than arrogance at this point. Let's not kill the kid before he's taken an NFL snap.
