I am just headed out for a long walk with the dogs, if next wants to jump in, I'll pick when I get back.
@Uruk-Hai is ITCI am just headed out for a long walk with the dogs, if next wants to jump in, I'll pick when I get back.
Wishing the best for your family.
Digging Fast Talk and looking forward to the next song.
The whole 4 song EP is great. You can listen to it multiple times instead of a single Pink Floyd song so it's got that going for it.Same. And Fast Talk is a great song.
This has been on my short list for a while now, but it seems fitting to take this after that video of Killer Mike from Atlanta last night has been going viral around the innerwebs. Yo Mama selects:
28.22 - Run the Jewels - Run the Jewels 2 (2014)
1 - Jeopardy
2 - Oh My Darling Don’t Cry
3 - Blockbuster Night, Pt. 1
4 - Close Your Eyes (And Count to F***)
5 - All My Life
6 - Lie, Cheat, Steal
7 - Early
8 - All Due Respect
9 - Love Again
10 - Crown
11 - Angel Duster
12 - Blockbuster Night, Pt. 2
Probably in my top 3-5 hip hop albums of the last decade. I’ve tried to get my kids into these guys since they’re both into all the new hippity hop stuff but they think it’s just more of what they call my DadRap. Had a hard time picking my second song - partly because I like so many of them, and partly because most would be unfriendly to the playlist sanctity.
And if you don’t like this pick, you can all run naked backwards through a field of #####.
the Heartbreakers (1977)Welp, I can close one of my 42 open youtube tabs. Nice choice, especially 1,000 picks in.Round 27 Berry Is On Top - Chuck Berry (1959)
Most of the bands/artists drafted here owe this guy on one level or another.
Carol
Little Queenie
Don't let the Zep tribute band crowd dissuade you. They're legit.Whoa!!! How had I not heard this Greta Van Fleet before? Just got my balls rocked by Highway Tune.
Going in for an album deep dive now...
I owe a debt of gratitude to the Ignition and Morningview drafters. I didnt slide this one up til those picks happened. I feel kinda bad because I too would have been gutted if I missed this.No worries. I’m still trying to figure out what to pick since @MAC_32 took my Incubus album.
Oh man, that album title really bothers me.Round 28 If There Was A Way - Dwight Yoakam (1990)
I was working in a record store when this came out and although I was not into country at all at the time I fell for this record when we played it in the store and I've been a fan of his since. It also helped I saw him open for the Dead once and he does a great job on with Trucking on one of the Dead Tribute albums.
Turn It On, Turn It Up, Turn Me Loose
It Only Hurts When I Cry
.. think you're in the wrong thread here, Jonesy

Think you're up for another now.28.35 Moon-shaped Pool, Radiohead (2016)
I look @ my lineup and i still need more dissonance, not resolution. Gimme Twitchy Toscanini & His Orchestra. I wasnt gonna take em from you young folks, but it's Rd. 28. Plus, look at the first songpick:
Desert Island Disk
The Numbers
You're up again, too. @PIK95had requested skip earlier today.28.33 Highway To Hell - AC/DC (1979)
Screw it. I was going in a whole different direction here, but the Sambuca is starting to taste good right about now.
"Highway To Hell"
"Touch Too Much"
Yeah it was fun watching these guys grow up (we’re friends with one of the band members) and then just blow up. The SCIENCE album was always my favorite because it still had all their early raw funkiness, but was cleaner and more refined to show how big they’d be able to get.I owe a debt of gratitude to the Ignition and Morningview drafters. I didnt slide this one up til those picks happened. I feel kinda bad because I too would have been gutted if I missed this.
Oh man, I was waiting this one out.thought it wouldn't be on anyone's radar so I took a few others. This is a good one.28.35 Moon-shaped Pool, Radiohead (2016)

i'm booze free for 11 weeks :(I'll be back later for some Dewar's picks.. so skip me.
This album used to have its own thread it's so legendary. Of course, that thread was started by a drunken me, so it might not be so legendary, but you know what I'm saying. I draft RTJ every draft so was trying to stay away. I figured KP would beat you to this, but alas, none for KP, either.28.22 - Run the Jewels - Run the Jewels 2 (2014)
Been there and my response is to declare content bankruptcy. Just kill it all.I have 12 youtube windows open![]()

Can I pick four more?By my calculations, everyone is either now on skip or ITC. It's chaos!
