The owner that got LT has almost no team (dynasty league). Today we get the notice that LT has been traded. I was shocked at how little he got because he now has a full team but seriously no depth and nothing left to trade. Was this a shark trade or desperation?

LT, LJ Smith

for

LJ, Kolby Smith, Galloway, Vernon Davis

Totally depends on the rest of their rosters as well as the league's starting and scoring rules. This sounds like a coaching forum question to me.

Like so many of these threads, there seems to be a winner, but given the information that I currently know, it is not outrageous.

That is a dumb trade for the present and the future.

standard scoring. I'm not protesting it, just scratching my head over it. Old LT owner actually proposed this trade.
Vernon Davis is not irrelevant in this trade for the long term. That's why I was asking because roster sizes and number of league mates could dramatically change the value of this trade.

I think the guy who got LT got the better end of the deal but it's not as lopsided as some of you seem to think. If Vernon turns into the next Gates the former LT owner could come out ahead on that trade.
