Desperation RB Advice (1 Viewer)

With Freeman expected to miss Monday's game and some bye week blues, my RB situation is looking...disastrous this week.  These are my options:

Players I Own

CJ Anderson vs. CIN
Corey Clement at DAL

Players I Could Add

Austin Ekeler vs. BUF
JD McKissic vs. ATL
Terron Ward at SEA

I'm inclined to start CJ and hope for a TD and go with Ekeler and hope for similar volume as last week.  Appreciate any advice you have.

It would depend on the rest of your team and whether or not you believe you should win or not.  If  you need the high upside guy to have a chance to win then Ekeler would be a wise choice.  If  you need a high floor guy I would think Ward with Freeman out would be the play.

Thanks for your help.

I think CJA is already a high floor guy as opposed to a high upside play, so unless you're projected to win easily this week I'd get as many high upside RBs as possible.  Clement is already one of those, but Ekeler is another.  You'd have the dilemma of which one to start, but I'd rather have a balance of CJA's floor with the upside from one of those 2 instead of another safe, high floor pick with Ward.  Again, that would change if you are projected to win easily, but otherwise I'd grab Ekeler and spend the rest of the week deciding between him and Clement.

Good luck!

Thanks to both of you.  The matchup currently is basically a toss-up, so I'm inclined to go with CJ.  I'll go with Ekeler if Rivers starts, if not, then Clement.

I lost by .4 points last night despite scoring 125 in a must-win game, so at this point, whatever happens happens!
