desperation WK4 plays (1 Viewer)

Geno Smith count as a desperation play? Aaron Rodgers owner needs to catch lightning in a bottle. I'll happily take his stats from last week please.

:scared:

I was going to play Pierce regardless of Rice's status because of Injuries. Now it looks like I might have just walked into an RB1 spot for the week.

I don't think anyone has Tannehill as their QB1, but he seems like a nice play on MNF in NO.

They're going to be forced to throw a lot to match the Saints offense, and I think their receivers could thrive in a turf environment

I gambled on Gronk's playing this week so I dropped Brandon Myers to pick up Pierre Thomas. Now with Gronk out, had to decide between Fleener v. Jags or Chandler v. Ravens. Chose Chandler thinking that Bills will be chasing the Ravens lead while the Colts get up early and do ball control clock killing drives with Trent Richardson.

white is on my bench. I honestly don't think he'll put up any numbers until after their week 6 bye.

marlon brown is starting in his place.

terrence williams is a tempting play (he's on the WW) with miles austin out and Dallas going against SD.

Cannot decide between roddy white and marlon brown

Brent Celek could be a great play today .... Denver has solid CBs and Celek has run a TON of routes this year (just hasn't been the primary read on most of them). I could see the Eagles making him a focus today. Or Denver will get up big, play "Prevent" and he'll catch a bunch of intermediate balls regardless. I think people could do worse as a fill-in TE or flex play.

If you're desperate at RB (who isn't?), I really think Snelling is a sneaky play.

He's got more talent than Rodgers and has a clearly defined role (goal line and 3rd down).

Someone brought up in another thread preseason reports that Flynn and Streater had good repoire. Someone has to benefit from the redskins 32nd ranked passing defense right?

Don't know if he's shown up in this thread yet, but with VJax hampered and possibly out, and Mike Williams beat up too, and a rookie QB....I'm thinking Kevin Ogletree.

Why do you say this? Rice is supposedly going to play. I am trying to decide do I start both of them? Or go with Pierce as the one who will get more carries because of being healthier?

I'm starting Pierce over Ridley, if that's any measure.

Even if Rice is back I think it'll be 50/50, and if the Ravens get ahead they'll be pounding Pierce late in the game. The Bills rushing defense has been awful.

Tavon Austin

Oh....wait
I actually did start Tavon. FML

Gonna dig an even deeper hole: starting Ridley (yes, he's fallen so far, he's a desperation play) and Pierre Thomas

I have Lacy on BYE (might still be hurt anyway) & Ray Rice looking iffier by the hour. FML x2
dude, ridley will be top 5 this week
He's not even top 5 in my stable of backs.

Hoyer (over Cassel/Flynn) in a 2QB league.

Rod Streater in a wr3 league.

Joique Bell as a flex is a moderately desperate play (where I have Bush but SJax, Ivory, Amendola all out).

Also starting Woodhead in a .5 PPR where my RBs are dreadful (Vereen/Ivory both down, Wilson doing nothing).

santonio holmes & vincent brown in same ppr league.

both steve smith & randall cobb on byes.

very UN-optimistic.

At this point I'm wishing I had started Hill over Fitz with a bad hammy against Revis.
I thought he was healed up and Revis wouldn't on him the whole time. We still have the second half for something to happen.

I need to go about finding another hobby...Clearly I don't know squat.

Yeah, you lost me at "ball control clock killing drives with Trent Richardson".

Yeah, I don't like him @TEN in the slightest. He's barely a QB2 this week IMO.
thanks for that bit of advice. I dug a little deeper on Sunday morning and dumped Geno Smith for Brian Hoyer. Barely won this week and would have surely lost with Geno.
