Jon Kitna (back) has been downgraded to out for Week 6 after visiting with a back specialist late in the week.

This isn't a good sign for his chances of playing again soon. Consider dropping Kitna in 10-team leagues. He hasn't played well even when healthy.

There's a separate thread in the SP saying that Stanton, and not Orlovsky, is going to start because Orlovsky's ankle is still hurting.

Should the threads be merged?

Just heard Mort say that Stanton will be backing up Orlovsky.

Analysis: WRs Roy Williams and Calvin Johnson are active and will start, as expected. QB Dan Orlovsky will start in the absence of Kitna.

Game announcers said Kitna didn't even make the trip to Minnesota with the team, they then speculated if the team wanted him even there.
