Detroit v. Cleveland (1 Viewer)

If the Lions don't win this with some degree of comfort, they really aren't much beyond last year's futility. As a Lion's fan, this game above all game played to date this year is the truest gauge of whether they have escaped the confines of the NFL basement. Yeah, you could say the St. Louis game was a significant gauge of progress/regress but they were without Calvin, Smith was banged up and Stafford was a game removed from having his knee amputated. I toss that out.

Baby steps Lion's fans. This is one of them.

If you can't play Kevin Smith, Calvin, Hanson and yes even Detroit's defense here, you shouldn't even be rostering them!

There are teams better than the Lions that have beaten the Browns this season, but not comfortably. Cleveland's D is not as lousy as their O.

If the Brown's play defense like they did against the Ravens and can run the ball with any success this game will easily be won by Cleveland.
I see you're going w/ the reverse karma play here. Smart move.As a life long Browns fan I feel :bag: to be part of this conversation - trying to figure out which of our teams is worse off.I hope all the DET fans will have their Canadian beer imports from Windsor ready, we're all going to need it. :goodposting:

Detroit will win this one.

I think using the word "easily" is a bit of a stretch considering the Browns have only scored 5 offensive TDs in 9 games (4 of them were Derek Anderson TDs -- 2 rushing and 2 passing). Hey, I agree the Browns D has played well at times, but their offense is the issue here and even against the Lions pass D (which is bad), I am not sure I can bank on the Mighty Quinn to pull out the win. Quinn has just 1 TD pass on the season to go along with 5 INTs and 2 fumbles lost. I wouldn't be so sure that the Browns are the easy winner even if they play good defense and can run the ball. I could easily see those 2 things happening and Quinn still losing the game for them.

Someone has to win this game and the right to drop a couple spots in the draft. Fortunately, the winner of this game will be picking after the Browns or Lions, who will inevitably pick yet another bust. Unfortunately, the winner of this game will still be the Browns or Lions.

shootout! :wall:

Calvin looked like he aggravated his bum knee prior to the td by Aaron Brown (man is he fast...nice late pick)

Who would have thought this would be one of the more entertaining games to watch this week.
