I just Picked him up off waivers, is this a good move, looks like he is going to have his normal role back!!!

Any projections or discussion?

the bulk of the carries ?

Deuce looked ok today ... no burst at all though .....

he will fill the " power " back roll ... and some weeks get multiple carries when the situation is there to run the clock out ...

if your expecting 20 carries and 100 yards on a week to week .... your dreaming or stuck in a time warp ...........

come on. at least for today give credit where credit is due.

people where saying he wouldn't even be active if stecker were playing.

it's ok to admit when you are wrong...

He looked big out there. Largest ball carrier on the field.

He doesnt have an issue with contact. He kept moving the ball forward.

With no Colston and Shockey, the Saints are very small on offense.

Yes he is. I have watched him through out the preseason and then saw him get 5yd per carry in the Washington game that gave our other backs trouble then for some unknown reason Sean Payton didn't play the punishing back in the needed situations in the Denver game in fact he never played against Denver because Payton claimed he wasn't ready. Fans were right to be upset at coach, in fact the whole city erupted on him on talk shows and through news paper columns. Well today Sean Payton put his hard headed stubborn pride aside maybe thinking he would give Deuce a few carries and then fans would shut up about the situation. Well I guess S.P. is very happy to be wrong because Deuce is back. News which is bitter sweet to us Saints fans because we could be undefeated because all we needed was a yard in the Washington game and all we need was a yard in the Denver game. Well we have a back who can get hard yards now. Reggie is still the man but Deuce is the all time great Saints rusher and it doesnt look like he wants to quit just yet.

and i say again .. DEUCE looked powerful today ... but has no burst ..

Deuce is going to be VERY VERY VALUABLE in REAL NFL FOOTBALL .. in FANTASY FOOTBALL

alot of 10 for 40

or

15 for 60

a nice stop gag .. but the value in fantasy wont come anywhere close to what he will be for the SAINTS in real life

I just dont want to start hearing people say . .he is a # 1 Rb . or 20 and 100 is something you can expect

Deuce may be seeing Goal line carries as well if today is an indication

So does this mean Pierre goes back to being useless?
I'm interested in knowing this too. I need some RB depth, and could really use him for a couple of bye weeks. He moved the whole pile on that TD plunge today - impressive for just having his knee rebuilt.

Looks to be a good number three back in deep leagues. I am happy he is on my bench and not someone elses.
