This used to be on my do not eat list, then my sister in law started making these for tailgates where I regularly eat them. I feel like I'm betraying myself...

I have no paprika or vinegar in the house. Only eggs, yellow mustard and mayo. Can I make suitable deviled eggs with just that?

Guarantee one of those steak rubs has a ton of paprika in it and would work well. Add some bacon.

I realized today that I don't have a go-to method here. Anyone famous for their deviled eggs? Recipes welcome.
Folks seem to enjoy my devlish embryos. I make two kinds. I boil the eggs just like everyone else. For the mixture I put half the yolks in one bowl, half in another. Mixture one is the "sweet style". Yolks, mayo, honey mustard, salt added in amounts producing the right taste & texture. Sprinkle paprika on top, garnish each with a small piece of bacon stuck in the middle. Mixture two is the "spicy style". Yolks, mayo, spicy brown mustard, salt, pepper. Top with a dollop of Sriracha sauce.

Smoked deviled eggs take something already good and elevate it to the Super Elite Upper Tier.

I've only had them at a restaurant, but a quick search yielded some instructions that sound like they would yield something similar to what I have had.

How to Guide
