Ndukwe is probable and may not be in condition to play every down, but the early speculation here is that he'll see enough time to make some impact this week.

Lewis called a timeout when it became apparent the Titans were going to run out the clock. On second-and-12 from the Bengals 29, Johnson ran right. Strong safety Chinedum Ndukwe filled the gap but missed the tackle. Free safety Marvin White pushed Johnson out at the Bengals 20-yard line.

"But stop the run (and) then have the bonehead play before halftime," Lewis said.

Ndukwe shouldered the blame.

"Obviously, I gave up the big play with the big run right before the half," said Ndukwe, who missed the entire preseason and the opener with a knee injury. "I'll just have to make that tackle next time. I obviously have to come down and make the play. It's what I'm paid to do."

I like how he took responsibility for his play.
