I was so hoping to see Witten just pop that ### in the mouf.Ware and witten should have kicked his diva ###
Not that brand of passion that has the potential of becoming toxic in the locker room. No excuse for his behavior. Passion can be expressed in more productive ways. Let's not spin today's tantrums as a good thing. That's passion, fellas. Better to have it than not.
That's not passion. That's being a whiny little #####.That's passion, fellas. Better to have it than not.
When there's 12 seconds left in the game and your QB is trying to get you to huddle up to talk about what you're going to do, it's definitely not better to stand around screaming at your teammates instead. That's passion, fellas. Better to have it than not.
per Witten:"We have a great relationship with him. This is a close-knit group. He has more passion than anyone I've ever played with. That's a good thing to have. With 12 seconds left, we were all upset, but there was still time left. I tried to communicate that. There was more football to play. We were going to get the ball back and the play we had drawn up, he was a big part of that play. We were trying to get him to calm down because we were going to try to get him the ball on that play."Not that brand of passion that has the potential of becoming toxic in the locker room. I must have missed where Peyton went off like this.Although, frankly we do usually give the QB the role of leader and presume the best from them in situations similar to this. What I don't understand is when someone like Rodgers or Peyton or Brady blatantly show up their teammates by screaming at them they don't get nearly as much criticism as a "diva wr" like Dez. Seems odd to me.
Really you don't see the difference? What I don't understand is when someone like Rodgers or Peyton or Brady blatantly show up their teammates by screaming at them they don't get nearly as much criticism as a "diva wr" like Dez. Seems odd to me.
Ahh, the convenient PR spin. Nice.per Witten:"We have a great relationship with him. This is a close-knit group. He has more passion than anyone I've ever played with. That's a good thing to have. Witten reiterated he has "no hard feelings" for Bryant.
"I love that kid like a brother," Witten said. "There are no hard feelings. DeMarcus and I talked to him. He's a great receiver and plays his tail off week-in and week-out. It's as simple as that. It's a disappointing loss. Dez is a guy who plays with his heart. We all do. Those things come up."
Witten says he has more passion than anyone he's played. That shows.
That's ghetto! That's passion, fellas. Better to have it than not.
Because they are screaming at players for failing to their jobs, not for the player failing to make them look good.Really you don't see the difference? What I don't understand is when someone like Rodgers or Peyton or Brady blatantly show up their teammates by screaming at them they don't get nearly as much criticism as a "diva wr" like Dez. Yeah. We should probably listen to internet guy instead.Ahh, the convenient PR spin. Nice.per Witten:"We have a great relationship with him. Or Rodgers. I'd like to see a little more fire from him at times.I must have missed where Peyton went off like this. What I don't understand is when someone like Rodgers or Peyton or Brady blatantly show up their teammates by screaming at them they don't get nearly as much criticism as a "diva wr" like Dez. Yes, it's odd that when Rodgers and Peyton and Brady act the way Dez did, the get no criticism. What I don't understand is when someone like Rodgers or Peyton or Brady blatantly show up their teammates by screaming at them they don't get nearly as much criticism as a "diva wr" like Dez. Fair enough, just watch who you go off on. What I saw was a wr going off on one of the best players in the league in witten. Didn't see everything of courseWatching lazy don't give a #### players like Chris Johnson , Britt , I'm thrilled to have a player that cares.
How do you know what Dez was screaming about?Because they are screaming at players for failing to their jobs, not for the player failing to make them look good.Really you don't see the difference? What I don't understand is when someone like Rodgers or Peyton or Brady blatantly show up their teammates by screaming at them they don't get nearly as much criticism as a "diva wr" like Dez. Great posting. It's about time someone says what should have been said a long time ago. Guy is pure heart. Plays top notch football each and every down and his teammates should be thankful they have him. Guy is too good to be held down. Give him the ball, Romo. Recognize. He's not a diva. Just goes at 100% all the time. Practice and games.
This team will back into the playoffs and worse yet, host a playoff game.I love a good Cowboy's collapse!!!
I sure would think so due to the fact the NFC East is so pitifulThis team will back into the playoffs and worse yet, host a playoff game.I love a good Cowboy's collapse!!!
I love a good Cowboy's collapse!!!
We'd be fools then. Dez is one of the few players that actually gives a crap on the team.I liked what MIchael Strahan said, once his talent slips just a little bit they will get rid of him (see Terrell Owens). Of course Bryant isn't past his prime like Owens was, so I don't know about that. I do agree with what he said that Bryant was disrespecting his teammates and coaches and they will eventually get tired of it. The guy is a walking time bomb.
After all his tantrums he was in there. I think that says alot about Jason Garrett's leadership. You have a player that was throwing temper tantrums, complete with arms flailing, on the sideline all game. He was screaming at his position coach, Tony Romo, Jason Witten, and Demarcus Ware. He ignored Witten's request to talk about the next play. And despite that, he gets to go in on the last play.I don't recall seeing him on that final play, was he in there?per Witten:"We have a great relationship with him. How can the passion be all good if it fks up your teams plans for the final play?
You gotta be kidding me. I guarantee you that you and nearly everyone on these boards has thrown a bigger fit over losing their fake football game on some random week because of something their player did not do, they happened to play the guy with the career day, somebody made a terrible trade and it's not fair, etc. That's not passion. That's being a whiny little #####.That's passion, fellas. Better to have it than not.
Agree and quite literally, there is a better chance jerry jones is dead or out of the everyday running of his team before Dez starts slipping in the talent department. We'd be fools then. Here's the video of the final play. Heh, I was talking to a buddy this morning about how remarkably mature Dez seems to have become since threatening to kill his mother. Oh well.
Total BS. They care, and are playing hard. This wasn't a one-time rant. Bryant did it the whole freakin' game. Way, way out of line. We'd be fools then.
