DFBC: Week 8 (1 Viewer)

Trap Play

Footballguy
All,

For those of you going DFBC this year, who are you looking at starting this week and why?

For two out of the last three weeks, I have gone with the Patriots, and they have been very solid for me. I am considering doing so again on Monday Night against the Vikings. Something terribly wrong has happened to Seattle's defense, and I think the Vikings offensive blow-up is an abaration. The Patriots don't create a huge number of turnovers and sacks, but they keep scores low and that preserves the base 10 points defenses get in my league.

Thoughts?

Giants home vs TB this week and home vs Houston Week 9...However, may not be available anymore after 13 sacks last 2 weeks

I just picked up the Giants D off waivers yesterday and I already have Carolina vs Dallas with Romo ... I may have to start both. ;)

I was thinking about them... how bad will all the injuries be though?Did they lose a bunch of guys on Monday night?I'm contemplating sticking with AZ (who is doing suprisingly well right now). Also, someone cut Carolina, and I was thinking about them against Dallas's two crummy tackles.

I mentioned the Panthers in the Waiver Wire thread. I have the Broncos but I'm giving real thought to picking up the Panthers and sitting Denver. At home against Romo is a very good matchup in my opinion.

I had Denver and Seattle as my DFBC. I dropped Seattle this week in favor of New Orleans, who plays Baltimore at home. I just don't know how Seattle's D will pan out w/o both Hasslebeck and Alexander. You saw what happened against Minnesota. I'm hoping I can pick them back up tho, since they have some nice matchups (OAK week 8, @ SF week 10, @ARI week 14, SF week 15)

Dallas is coming off of a short week as well.Thats it, I'm running out to pick them up.

any more comments on ari against the pack?
I don't think the Packers are really offensively challenged. I mean, yea, they got rocked on that first game against the Bears but they;ve been able to score on everyone else they played. Cardinals are a decent option if you don't have anybody else but I wouldn't expect too much out of the Cards defense.

NY Giants this week against TB and next week against Houston.Cards against Dallas in week 10.
After looking at it more (and this weeks Def SOS content), I'm keeping AZ and picking up NYG and going with them the rest of the way. Their schedules mesh perfectly.

now i'm going to have to look at it again, because i didn;t think the giants looked good past week 13 or so. or does az have a few good weeks in a row then?
