In a couple years DHB has a chance to be in an NFLN show, Top 10 biggest draft busts. He almost had as many drops 6 as he did catches 9 this year.Multiple Scores said:
Sums up DHB pretty nicely.simply embarrasing for an NFL calibre WR.
Most experts did not have DHB number 2 behind Crabtree....he was not even number 3.I can't blame the Raiders for not taking Maclin, Britt, Harvin or Hicks that high because IMO at the time they would have been reaches but not taking Crabtree was a joke. I also think DHB was a reach also but most of the so called experts had him or Maclin behind Crabtree as the number two Wr.
The Raider mgmt. had no idea who Wallace was at that time.Wallace was just as fast as DHB at the combine.....if they wanted to go speed guy the could have taken Wallace two rounds later......
No, it really isn't. When you showcase hand like those at 1:11 and 1:16 of that clip, you can basically call yourself Troy Williamson II. Doesn't matter who throws it when it hits you in the hands and breadbasket and you can't haul it in.granted the guy had issues his first season, but A LOT of great WRs have.i'm not saying he will be great, but look who was throwing the ball to him, and he had a rookie wr on the other side as well. i think it's a little early to write him off already. sheez.
I know this has been stated countelss other times by plenty of people before. But DHB's issues are with his hands. He can't catch and this is why he will never succeed in the NFL. Whether it was Manning/Brady/Brees throwing him the ball his inconsistent hands will be the end of him. He may be a deep spread the field type of guy that will catch one every once and awhile, but will never ever be worth his high selection.granted the guy had issues his first season, but A LOT of great WRs have.i'm not saying he will be great, but look who was throwing the ball to him, and he had a rookie wr on the other side as well. i think it's a little early to write him off already. sheez.
Louis murphy as well.thevidon said:Agreed with the above posters. Chaz Schilens and Zach Miller managed to look pretty good with the same quality passes coming their way. DHB however has made an jackass out of both himself and Al Davis. At least he has the good graces to be embarrassed about his failure (see his face on the sideline in that video).
No, Al Davis makes a jackass out of himself and no one else ...thevidon said:DHB however has made an jackass out of both himself and Al Davis.
especially on 0:50 mark in DHB's video highlights.
Wallace was at the combine and ran a 4.33 that was .03 slower than DHB...I find it hard to believe they missed that...The Raider mgmt. had no idea who Wallace was at that time.Wallace was just as fast as DHB at the combine.....if they wanted to go speed guy the could have taken Wallace two rounds later......
