DHB Highlight reel 2009 (1 Viewer)

The attempt at 1:09 is simply embarrasing for an NFL calibre WR.

First thing I noticed when I scouted him in one of his games at Maryland when everyone was riding his jock was he was not a natural hands catcher and I immediately wrote him off and someone that would never be on any of my FF teams. This play is the epitome of that taken to another level.

I can't blame the Raiders for not taking Maclin, Britt, Harvin or Hicks that high because IMO at the time they would have been reaches but not taking Crabtree was a joke. I also think DHB was a reach also but most of the so called experts had him or Maclin behind Crabtree as the number two Wr.

Its truly hysterical how awful Oakland is at screwing up draft opportunities. I feel for the fans, but I long for the comedy they provide every year.

Most experts did not have DHB number 2 behind Crabtree....he was not even number 3.

This is great. Al Davis passes on the consensus #1 WR in the draft to take possibly one of the biggest bust since Ryan Leaf. And to top it off he goes to San Fran and has a great rookie year. Then he trades away most likely a very early 1st round pick for Seymore. Sorry, I find that repeating things helps them sink in.

No wonder there are so many weed dispensaries in Oakland. If the majority of the population wasn't stoned the city would surely be burnt down by now.

Wallace was just as fast as DHB at the combine.....if they wanted to go speed guy the could have taken Wallace two rounds later......

granted the guy had issues his first season, but A LOT of great WRs have.

i'm not saying he will be great, but look who was throwing the ball to him, and he had a rookie wr on the other side as well.

i think it's a little early to write him off already. sheez.

No, it really isn't. When you showcase hand like those at 1:11 and 1:16 of that clip, you can basically call yourself Troy Williamson II. Doesn't matter who throws it when it hits you in the hands and breadbasket and you can't haul it in.

I know this has been stated countelss other times by plenty of people before. But DHB's issues are with his hands. He can't catch and this is why he will never succeed in the NFL. Whether it was Manning/Brady/Brees throwing him the ball his inconsistent hands will be the end of him. He may be a deep spread the field type of guy that will catch one every once and awhile, but will never ever be worth his high selection.

Agreed with the above posters. Chaz Schilens and Zach Miller managed to look pretty good with the same quality passes coming their way. DHB however has made an jackass out of both himself and Al Davis. At least he has the good graces to be embarrassed about his failure (see his face on the sideline in that video).

Louis murphy as well.

I've got to say it...

Including Troy Williamson, David Terrell, Koren Robinson, Peter Warrick, Travis Taylor and even the Godfather's of WR suckiness (ie. Charles Rogers and Mike Williams), no WR drafted in the Top-10 picks has fallen in FF value as fast and as hard as DHB. Sure, there's probably a great probability that he will continue to fail in the NFL, but I have to believe he's worth the peanuts that the DHB owners are asking (...or begging you to take) for him in FF trade talks.
