His numbers took a HUGE dive after a great first half of the season. Didn't he have some kind of sprain or injury? Anyone remember? I can't seem to google the info....
CINCINNATI -- Bengals running back Chris Perry hurt his left ankle on a first-quarter run Sunday and was taken off the field on a cart.
The extent of the injury wasn't immediately known. Perry was taken for X-rays.
The second-year running back provides a change-up to starter Rudi Johnson, who is best at running between the tackles. Perry, a first-round draft pick last season, excels at catching the ball and getting outside on runs.
Perry got into the game on the Bengals' second series against Cleveland, and carried on three straight plays. His right ankle twisted on the third carry.
thanks wannabe. that is so helpful. see, starting week 9, he had troubles with his ankle. if you look at his ff points 1-8, they were great, then he took a dive. i'm sure this is why. i really like him as a sleeper this year.

I am very intetrested in where Perry ends up in terms of ADP come draft time. I am pimping Rudi as being under valued as a top 6 player right now, but I cant whistle past the graveyard on Perry either. If Perry is going to be available later on in drafts as a handcuff I am almost always going to nab both and hope for the best this season. This may be a situation where having a good backup is a very good thing.
