Did I see that right? (1 Viewer)

I noticed that the PP&K jerseys had no team logos, although they had the color schemes of the kids favorite team. Could this be a change brought on by (the Colt's?) jeering of a girl with a Patriot's jersey last year?

I noticed that too.I also noticed that the Panthers fans really had little interest in cheering for pre-teens who could punt, pass and kick when their team is getting destroyed although maybe they should have benched Jake for one of the winners. How much worse could a 12 year old girl have done?

The team was on the sleeve. I believe the 15 year old girl had the 49ers logo on her sleeve. I did not like this change because I had to listen to where the kids were from in order to put the kid and team together. One kid was from Massachusetts, one from Pennsylvania and am not sure about the rest.

I was at a bar with the sound on during the half time but lots of back ground noise.

Girls should not be participants in this, IMO
Given their relative development, girls regularly beat the boys in many age groups.
Huh?In the 8 and 9-year-old girls group

Gianna Rose won with a punt of 43 feet, pass of 10 feet and kick of 37 feet.

Desiree Noel was second with a punt of 11 feet and 6 inches, pass of 21 feet and kick of 10 feet.

For the 8 and 9 boys group,

Evan Meredith edged Jay Vanderjagt. Meredith was behind after two events, but boomed a 60 foot and 4 inch kick to win. Vanderjagt’s kick was 24 feet and 6 inches. Vanderjagt had taken the lead after his punt of 37 feet and 9 inches and pass of 57 feet and 3 inches. Meredith’s punt was 29 feet and 8 inches and pass 41 feet and 1 inch

Brooke Cleary won the 10 and 11-year-old girls group, punting 21 feet, passing 21 feet and 3 inches and kicking the ball 34 feet.

The 10 and 11-year-old boys saw Cody Young punt the ball 97 feet and 7 inches, pass for 88 feet and kick for 68 feet to edge Dalton Herrity who punted 48 feet and 6 inches, passed 79 feet and 8 inches and kicked for 75 feet.

Physically speaking, boys and girls have virtually no difference in muscle development, body growth, hormonal growth, and mental growth before puberty begins.

Did anyone else think the 12/13 year old kids looked a little older, and the 14/15 year olds looked MUCH older?

Struck me as odd.

I wish they'd actually have the final competition on the field during halftime or something. I'd watch. That #### was fun as a kid.

We're looking at the most superior kids in the nation in a competition which is pretty much all pure strength. Expect some freaks.
