Did Justin Tucker help or destroy any of you? Let's hear it... (1 Viewer)

If he missed, Stafford wouldn't have thrown the int and my opponent (Raven's Def) wouldn't have won. Only chance I have is a Mega 2 yd stat correction to 100.

Poor fella in my 10-year-old keeper league had never placed in the money.

He was fourth place in his division, but the third place team lost Rodgers and Foster and had a fire sale.

Guy just makes the playoffs with tiebreakers.

He picks up an improbable win against the Peyton Manning squad when team Manning starts Bush and Gronk who get him zero combined.

He's up 15 against the 1 seed this week and the 1 seed only has 1 guy left, his worst player...

And then he got Tucked in the butt.

I was down by 13pointsomething points with only Tucker left and was pissssssed because I started Bowe instead of Corardelle Patterson, despite my gut telling me to start the latter. I've been so dejected and mad at myself since yesterday. Right now I'm smiling from ear to ear.

Just caught Harbaugh's press conference. Before their final play which gained 2 yards, they were looking at a 63-yard FG. Tucker walks up to him and says "I got this."

Baller.

"My fantasy team is benefiting from it as well so I'm happy about that. And fantasy owners, I hope you appreciate the points," -Justin Tucker

This guy gets it

I've never seen a kicker hit a cycle, 20-30-40-50-60
For Mike Herman, this must have been the sports equivalent of banging a Victoria's Secret supermodel.
Just posted this in the Tucker FFA thread.

Gruden Grinder - Week 15 - Justin Tucker, PK, Baltimore Ravens

:lmao:

In a week filled with historic performances, this has to be the first time a PK has ever received the honor of being that week's Gruden Grinder on MNF.

Tucker entering the MVP conversation? Needs 9 more FG in the next 2 games to tie the alltime season record.

Has pretty much won 3 of the last 4 Ravens games single-handed: 4 FGs vs. Jets in 19-3 win, 5 vs. Steelers in 22-20 win, 6 vs. Lions in 18-16 win.

I started the day needing 28 points from Megatron and Tucker. When Megatron didn't convert the 2pt conversion I was down by .8 points and needed a Tucker FG to win... so I won the ####### game on that 61 yard FG!

Further, the guy I was playing had J. Charles and scored the 5th highest points for the year... fortunately for me I scored the 4th highest for the year! Definitely the craziest fantasy game I have ever been involved with.

If he's a jerk, send this pic to him.

Crazy night for sure. It seems that every single Monday night game this year decided whether I would win my game or not. I hate that!

I took out the #1 seed in my league this week because of Charles and Mr. Tucker. Set an all time high score to boot. Funny scoring for kickers, 10 points over 60, 5 points over 50, 4 points over 40 and the rest are 3. 32 points....life is good

Won the game for me and probably will get me into the playoffs. But we don't play those until January. I'll get crushed, but it will be good to be in them while I'm rebuilding.

I was down by 20 and tuckers last fg sent me to the finals. ... what a stud. Overcame eagles def, vereen, bad performances by denver players. My finals opponent is probably pretty excited to be playing against peyton. He was going to go up against matt ryan

I can't believe how the Ravens continue to win games. It wouldn't shock me to see them go all the way again.

Tucker won my game for me with the 61 yard kick.

Heading into Monday night I was tied. I had Tucker. Opponent had Stafford, Det D.

I congratulated him for winning and wished him luck in the super bowl before the game started.

My league's #1 seed going into the game last night vs. Tucker and 17 point lead....and the #1 seed lost. Basically the 61 yd'er was the final nail. Never imagined THAT situation would have happened to the league's #1 seed.

Reminds me how glad I am that one of my leagues got rid of kickers.
We got rid of QBs for the same reason. Guys like Manning would blow up for 5-6 TDs. We may have to look at dumping RBs next year after the Charles performance.

I made the playoffs as the #3 seed, playing #2. Earlier in the week, I see a thread in the Shark Pool about having a tie breaker in case your fantasy playoff games end in a tie, so I tell the Commish.

The Commish suggests most points possible (meaning, who made the biggest mistake(s) in setting their line-up). The league adopts it.

On Sunday, with Jamaal Charles leading the way for me, I score an epic 217 points, a top 10 score of all time in our 16 year old league, with Dennis Pitta remaining for Monday night. My opponent comes in with a great week of his own by all standards, through Sunday, with 171 points and Tucker yet to play.

We ended in a 222 point tie with the Tucker kick. He had the tie breaker for leaving Greg Jennings on the bench, while I set the perfect lineup.

Being on the losing end if the game sucks, but it was such an epic contest, with everyone doing exactly what had to get done. That was what it is all about.

(Maybe a stat correction will break the tie??? :oldunsure:

I had a 2 point lead going into last night...I had Calvin and he had Tucker...it was in the bag right? :ptts:

My other playoff I had Peyton outplayed by 19 points by Foles....lost by 12. :ptts:

I lost last night by less then 2 points. Heading into the game I was up by about 10 points and had Calvin Johnson against Justin Tucker and was feeling pretty good.

Down 6 with Tucker in and he has STAFFORD, so game over right? NOT! J-Tuck in the clutch!

OOOOOooooh Kill 'Em!!!

The most amazing part is that my best friend, who is also in our league, returned from duty in Afghanistan (represent 837th Engineer Company) yesterday so we all met up at the bar to celebrate and watch the game. Great night to say the least...

He put my opponent in next week's finals into the Championship game. He was up by 2 going into last night's game with his Tucker against his opponent's Reggie Bush. I'm sure he was doing cartwheels after that last FG by Tucker.

Baller.
Do you know of any kicker who would not say that?

Same situation for me, although I thought I had a comfortable lead with 23 points. Then, I checked in last night before the game and realized my opponent got another 6 for the SF defensive score. After the first couple drives when it was 7-0, Bush had 11 and Tucker 0, so all of a sudden I am only up 6 and he has the tiebreaker, so really just 5. Suffice it to say, Mr. Tucker, my new BFF, outscores Bush 23-6 the rest of the way. In the end, win by 23 when they other guy puts up 158, which is a score that wins every game most weeks.

The 61 yarder was an awesome way to win it. The looks on the Lions players after the FG was priceless. Calvin and then Bush. I don't think any of the Lions thought there was a chance that they would lose on a 61 yarder. I didn't need it at that point

I was down by 5 to start the game. My opponent had Calvin and I had Tucker. I couldn't sleep last night, I was so wired.

down by 3+ heading into the game - they had Bush I had Tucker. I told the other owner I figured I needed 20 from tucker to get the win. Got 24 - won by 5. That it was 61 yards only added to the thrill of victory.
