just came across this Rotoworld blurb on Vick:

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that "multiple" teams have contacted the Eagles about trade possibilities involving their quarterbacks.

Donovan McNabb and Kevin Kolb would be the most desirable acquisitions, but Michael Vick is the Birds' likeliest quarterback to leave town. By moving him before March 5, the Eagles could get themselves off the hook for Vick's impending $1.5 million roster bonus and $3.75M salary. Rams coach Steve Spagnuolo all but confirmed Friday that St. Louis is considering the move.

It would put fans in the stands. May be a good idea as it would take pressure off SJax until they can groom a real QB.

Why Lott? I would be very happy if I were St Louis if they can acquire him. You all are terrible and you need help everywhere. Let Vick come in for 2-3 years while you all find a long term solution. Then St Louis can focus on filling up their trenches with guys like Suh and then work on rebuilding that OL. Then when they won't get guys killed at QB they can be grroming a QB in this year's draft but maybe not Clausen, or next year.St Louis would compete a lot quicker. Arizona losing Warner, Seattle is sorry, San Fran is still not there...the division is wide open right now and also Spanola wants to keep his job and unless he starts making some progress quickly he is going to be in a pickle.

I was one of those who said he should do serious jail time.

But he has. And after someone has done their time you need to give them a second chance.

He could really help St. Louis be competitive next year.
