Tiki Barber just reported that Jason Whitten told him after the game that "player-wise they have a very good team." If the players weren't responsible for the late season collapse, who was? Is he lobbying for a coaching change or was it just a poor choice of words?

Witten is the last guy on this team that would bash anyone. I think it just maybe came out wrong.

It's Witten. And he's generally right. Jerry's put together a team full of talented headcases and won't tolerate the type of coach needed to manage such a group.

Actually, I'm pretty sure Tiki reported that Witten said "personnel" not "player-wise." I thought the same thing when I heard it. IMO, personnel would include the players and coaching staff. He's a classy guy...I don't think he'd bash coaches or teammates.

I may have mis-heard. It has certainly happened before. I'm not so sure that personnel includes the coaching staff, but even if it does, who is he pinning the blame on then? The owner?
